Brian Stuhlmacher was a Human man, a Starfleet captain and the commanding officer of the USS Bellerophon.
In an alternate timeline, the Bellerophon, the USS Voyager and the USS Intrepid were sent by Starfleet to confront the Cardassians at Dorvan V. The three vessels were fired upon by Galor-class warships armed with phased polaron beam weapons, and both Intrepid and Voyager are destroyed, while the Bellerophon escaped. - Given that Janeway of Voyager and Emick of Intrepid command the same ships in the prime timeline, Stuhlmacher may also command the Bellerophon in the prime timeline.
