The Bristol Blenheim was a type of aircraft flown on Earth in the 20th century. It was a bomber used in combat by the British Royal Air Force during World War II.
Service history[]
On 19 August 1942, Blenheims participated in the Allies' Dieppe Raid on German-held Dieppe, France.
In 2372, Julian Bashir and Miles O'Brien roleplayed as Blenheim crewmen during the Dieppe Raid in a holosuite at Quark's. Bashir piloted evasively while O'Brien shot down Focke-Wulf Fw 190s with a machine gun turret. Strangely, when an Allied bomber crashed in the English Channel, both the holodeck program and time itself froze. O'Brien had to crawl out of the bomber in order to investigate.
