Brolamine was a form of drug known to Federation science in the 23rd century.

After learning about the disease which had struck the inhabitants of planet Alpha Proxima II in 2266, USS Constellation CMO Lewis Rosenhaus asked if the doctors on the planet had considered using brolamine to treat the disease. However, USS Enterprise CMO Leonard McCoy stated that brolamine couldn't be used in these cases. (TOS - The Brave and the Bold, Book One novella: The First Artifact)
