DaiMon Brund was a larger than usual Ferengi of the 24th century who commanded the starship Tampanium in the 2370s decade.
In the year 2368, he was transporting a very large group of Sli to a new colony on Sketti Iota III. He was forced to divert to Lessenar by the Sli because they sensed the death of one of Mon Hartog's Sli. Brund asked Captain Picard to kill Hartog's Sli so that he could continue with his mission.
