The CDS Bok'Nor was a Cardassian starship, a Bok'Nor-class freighter in service to the Cardassian Union's Central Command in the late 24th century. When commissioned, the Bok'Nor was the prototype for a new class of starships. (Decipher RPG module: Starships)

History[]

In the year 2370, the Bok'Nor's crew of 78 included Cardassian officers, and merchants in civilian attire. That year, the freighter delivered 14 metric tons of golside ore to the Regulon system prior to its arrival at the joint Federation-Bajoran space station Deep Space 9. Moments after undocking from the station, the freighter was destroyed by an implosive protomatter device planted on the ship's impulse engine.

A Starfleet investigation identified the culprits as the newly-formed Maquis rebel organization, who claimed the Bok'Nor had been transporting weapons to colonists in the Demilitarized Zone. (DS9 episodes: "The Maquis", "The Maquis, Part II")

When Chakotay made a comment denying that the Maquis were terrorists, Kathryn Janeway asked why they had bombed the Bok'Nor. Chakotay commented that the bombing was self defense and that the Bok'Nor was running weapons. Janeway retorted that the Bok'Nor was possibly running weapons. (VOY short story: "The Last Refuge")

In an alternate timeline, the Bok'Nor was used by the Cardassians during their attempt to annex Dorvan V. (ST novel: A Gutted World)
