The CDS Kraxon (CUW-8381) was a Cardassian Galor-class battle cruiser in the 24th century, in service of the Cardassian Union's Central Command around the 2370s decade, commanded by Gul Ranor. In 2371, the Kraxon was one of a fleet of ships that were ordered to hunt down the USS Defiant, that had been stolen by Thomas Riker and the Maquis and was running amok in Cardassian space.
However, Gul Skrain Dukat later ordered the Kraxon to defend the Defiant when it was approached by a force of Keldon-class warships from the Orias system, which were later discovered to be Obsidian Order vessels. After working a deal with Commander Benjamin Sisko, Dukat agreed to let the Defiant go in return for sensor logs and Tom Riker. The Kraxon later took Riker back to Cardassia Prime to face a trial for his actions. (DS9 episode: "Defiant"; WizKids module: Tactics)
- In the Armada games, no specific history or definitive final fate was established for this vessel as its name was selected for a battleship by the game developers, and is sometimes placed randomly when the ship appears.
