The CDS Krune was a 24th century Cardassian starship, a Groumall-class[1] cargo ship in the Union's Central Command Guard service in the 2370s decade. (ST video game: Armada II)
Service history[]
In 2377, the Krune joined the Cardassian Uprising, led by Gul Kentar, against the Klingon Empire that occupied Cardassian territory following the end of the Dominion War. The ship saw action against Klingon Defense Force assets deployed by Chancellor Martok himself. (ST video game: Armada II)
On stardate 54683.9, Cardassian and Romulan ships escorted a large convoy of Cardassian cargo ships to Mornaur II. The Klingons learned of the supply convoy and the Romulans' rearmament of the Cardassians. The CDS[4] Krune was part of the fleet, and stopped from reaching Mornaur II by a KDF blockade in the Mornaur system. (ST video game: Armada II mission: "Blockade")
After the Klingons pushed Kentar's Rebellion back into the Cardassian home system, the Krune was one of the cargo ships that kept ferrying goods and resources between Cardassian trading stations until Martok received the surrender from Cardassian officials on Cardassia Prime. (ST video game: Armada II mission: "To Cardassia and Victory")
