The CSS Steadfast was a Tzenkethi starship, a Shuk-din-class frigate in Tzenkethi Coalition service in the 2410s decade. The ship's commanding officer was Captain Neth Parr. (STO - New Frontiers mission: "The Renegade's Regret")

Service history[]

Circa 2410, Tzen-Crinnu was the captain of the Steadfast. Under his command, the ship abandoned its campaign to eradicate Drantzuli from Alpha Quadrant worlds and made way for Federation space. Captain Neth Parr apprehended the Steadfast, killed its crew with a protomatter torpedo, and claimed the ship as her own. (STO - New Frontiers short story: "The Redemption of the Steadfast")

Parr's first mission on the Steadfast was the eradication of Drantzuli in the Eohk system, causing the genocide of the Eohki people.

At 20 Draconis III, the Steadfast eradicated the local population, and members of their own away team.

Parr argued against the eradication of the population of Atosee Prime but was overruled by Admiral Aarn Tzen-Terrak. (STO - New Frontiers mission: "The Renegade's Regret")

In 2410, Neth Parr led a mission to Dranuur Colony, where the Lukari and Kentari studied germanium crystals. Parr and an away team beamed down and joined forces with the Alpha Quadrant Alliance and colonial forces, led by Captains Geordi La Forge and Kuumaarke, when Drantzuli hatched from the "crystals" and attacked the colony. The alliance leads to a falling out between Parr and the autarch (STO - New Frontiers mission: "Melting Pot")

When the Alliance launched an offensive against the Tzenkethi Crusade, Parr warned them of an impending attack on Bajor. When the Tzenkethi Battlestation arrived to bombard Deep Space 9, Parr defected and turned against Admiral Tzen-Terrak. (STO - New Frontiers mission: "Scylla and Charybdis")

In Alliance captivity on DS9, Parr reported the Steadfast's deeds to Captains La Forge and Nog. (STO - New Frontiers mission: "The Renegade's Regret")

With the Tzenkethi Crusade over, Parr resumed captaincy of the Steadfast, and was part of a small Tzenkethi task force joining the Alliance in the Battle of Empersa against the Hur'q. The Hur'q Swarm attacked Empersa, the new Founder homeworld and capital of the Dominion. Following the resolution of the Hur'q Invasion, Parr travelled to DS9 and thanked the Alliance for supporting the crusade against the Hur'q and their Drantzuli attendants. (STO - Gamma Quadrant mission: "Home")
