Cabrodine is an explosive chemical substance that is easily obtained.

In 2369, Neela used cabrodine and infernite to destroy the school on Deep Space 9's Promenade. (DS9 episode: "In the Hands of the Prophets")

In 2372, a cabrodine and infernite explosive detonated on Cort's shuttle as it was leaving Bajor with himself, Quark, Rom, Tarken, Karg, Borit, Lenk, Kreln and Prana aboard. Cort may have planted the substances himself. (DS9 novel: The 34th Rule)

In 2381, the Breen use advanced technology to change the molecular structure of nitrilin to make that explosive appear to be cabrodine. The modified nitrilin was used by the Typhon Pact to destroy a Janus Mining topaline refinery on Capella IV and also hid their involvement in what seemed like a fairly minor incident. The crew of the USS Aventine investigated the explosion and Gruhn Helkara discovered that the cabrodine was actually altered nitrilin. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)

In 2385, Ohalavaru extremists tried to destroy an area of Endalla using cabrodine. (DS9 novel: Sacraments of Fire)
