Cajara (also known as Bajor VII) is the seventh planet located in the Bajoran system, and is orbited by at least three moons. On some occasions during its orbit of the star, Bajor-B'hava'el, it is on the same side of the system as Deep Space 9.

In 2370, a shuttlecraft became disabled near Cajara's third moon and Deep Space 9 had to send out two runabouts in order to lend assistance. (DS9 episode: "Whispers")

In 2376, Nog had Empok Nor, which he and the Starfleet Corps of Engineers had towed from the Trivas system, placed in orbit of Cajara. (DS9 novel: Abyss)

Some sources list Bajor as the seventh planet in the system.
