Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

The Caldonians were a humanoid civilization originating somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, native to the planet Caldonia. (TNG episode: "The Price")

Biology[]

The Caldonians were tall humanoids with dark brown skin, three-fingered hands, and a large, intricately-ridged cranium with a nose shaped differently than a Humans. (TNG episode: "The Price")

Culture[]

Caldonians had a reputation of being committed to pure research. Things that distracted them from research, like administrative demands, made them wary. (TNG episode: "The Price")

History[]

In 2366, the Caldonians were one of several species that negotiated for the rights to the Barzan wormhole. Their representative in the talks was Leyor, and they were willing to bid trillium 323 for it. However, they were bought out by Devinoni Ral, who alerted them of the management needed for traffic through the wormhole that they felt they couldn't handle, and took their trillium 323, making them drop out of the bidding. (TNG episode: "The Price")

In 2373, two Caldonian visitors to Deep Space 9 booked the use of a holosuite, although they argued with an Andorian patron who also claimed it was their slot. Quark pretended to mediate but increased the charge. The Caldonian woman considered a game of dabo instead. (DS9 - The Badlands - Book Two novella: Part IV)
