The Calypso was the oceangoing Human ship commanded by Jacques Cousteau.

In 2293, Montgomery Scott suggested to Rockefeller Thaylor that his ship, the Plush Princess could be the next Calypso. (TOS novel: The Fearful Summons)

The captain's yacht on the USS Enterprise-D was named Calypso after Cousteau's vessel, as was the second yacht on the USS Enterprise-E. (TNG reference: Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Manual, TNG novel: A Time to Be Born)
