Campio in 2368
Campio was the third minister to the Conference of Judges on the planet Kostolain. A very proper individual, he was extremely devoted to protocol and etiquette.
In 2368, he was engaged to marry Betazoid ambassador Lwaxana Troi after the two of them exchanged personality profiles. Although the two had not met prior to the marriage arrangements, their profiles were very harmonious and both believed it to be a perfect match.
Soon afterward, Captain Jean-Luc Picard permitted the wedding service to be held aboard the USS Enterprise-D, as per Lwaxana's request. Assisting Campio with his part of the arrangements was Protocol Master Erko, who was to ensure that proper etiquette between Campio and Lwaxana was maintained until after the wedding.
However, shortly after transporting aboard the Enterprise-D, it was soon evident that, despite their profiles, Campio and Lwaxana could not be any more different. Lwaxana was much more free-spirited in nature, preferring to visit the holodeck rather than deal with business regarding the wedding.
The marriage was called off when Lwaxana arrived at the service in Ten Forward in the nude, as per Betazoid wedding customs. Shocked, Campio was hauled from the room by a disgusted Erko. (TNG episode: "Cost of Living")
