Captain Chakotay kept various mementos in his captain's room aboard the Protostar. These were inherited by Dal R'El when the Unwanted stole the derelict ship from the Diviner on Tars Lamora in the year 2383.
In 2384, Gwyn and Dal commented on the artifacts in Captain Dal's captain's room. Dal added his 2380s-era Starfleet uniform and boots to the mix. Other items included: a plushie of Kathryn Janeway in her evolved amphibious lifeform form, a model of Deep Space 9, a model of the Phoenix, a picture frame, and a model of a Watcher robot on the work desk.
