"Captain Proton's Adventure at Alpha Centauri" is a 20th century novella, part of the literature of the fictional science fiction series The Adventures of Captain Proton.

The story was published in Captain Proton Magazine, Captain Proton's paperback magazine series. In the story, because the Centauran homeworld outlawed weapons fire, Proton had to resort to other ways of stopping an Earth invasion. At one point, alien baby food and a paper clip came into play.
