"Captain Proton versus the Cosmic Creature" is a 20th century story, a chapter in the fictional science fiction serial The Adventures of Captain Proton.

History and specifics[]

The story featured Captain Proton combating alien invaders.

In the year 2375, Harry Kim and Tom Paris reenacted the serial's Chapter Eighteen: "Bride of Chaotica" on USS Voyager's holodeck. Soon, real-world photonic aliens began interacting with the holodeck characters. Doctor Chaotica attacked them, believing that they were invaders from the Fifth Dimension. When Satan's Robot informed Kim and Paris of the occurrence, Paris said invaders weren't part of the plot of chapter 18, but rather for "Captain Proton versus the Cosmic Creature".
