The Cardassian Communications Service or Cardassian Information Service was a news service that was present within the Cardassian Union.

The Information Service was tasked with investigating stories within Cardassian space and reporting it to the civilian branches. A great deal of censorship was applied to these broadcasts and news stories in order to paint the Union in good light. (ST - Terok Nor novel: Night of the Wolves)

In 2357, Iliana Ghemor listened to a broadcast by the Information Service that mentioned her father Tekeny Ghemor's new assignment to the Cardassian Central Command, as well as Trekal Darhe'el's retirement and Morad Pirak's upcoming transfer to Bajor. (DS9 novel: Fearful Symmetry)

By 2370, they were known as the Cardassian Communications Service and handled the majority of Cardassian transmissions. (DS9 episode: "Profit and Loss")
