The Cardassian Institute of Art was an organization on Cardassia that was responsible for promoting and preserving works of Cardassian art.

In 2374, Tora Ziyal sent some of her drawings to the director of the Cardassian Institute of Art. The director was impressed with Ziyal's work and planned to exhibit three of the drawings. (DS9 episode: "Sons and Daughters")

The archives of the Cardassian Institute of Art survived the Jem'Hadar attacks on Cardassia at the end of the Dominion War. In 2376, Alon Ghemor organized an search of the archives and Ziyal's paintings were discovered. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: This Gray Spirit)
