In a 26th century possible timeline, a Federation that was dominated by the Consilium utilized cargo shuttles aboard yagghorth-driven starships. A stolen cargo shuttle of this type was taken from the time traveling Savasci by a group of 23rd century Yoons they were attempting to kidnap to create a future colony. The Yoons took the shuttle to a planet obscured by the Crossroad Nebula where the future Consilium would not be able to find them. (TOS novel: Crossroad)
