Carlos Quintana was a Cuban Human. He was trained by the Central Intelligence Agency, but was captured by the Cuban government at the Bay of Pigs. He was removed from his prison cell by the Chrysalis Project for their initial attempts at genetic manipulation. He was the only person to survive these early experiments, however his DNA was permanently spliced with that of a gorilla.
Roberta Lincoln referenced Bigfoot, Neanderthals, Mighty Joe Young, King Kong, Magilla Gorilla, Son of Kong and Lurch from The Addams Family to describe him.
