For other uses, see Cataclysm.

The Cataclysm was the name given to a global war which took place on an unnamed planet sometime prior to 2376. This conflict was apparently fought with nuclear weapons, and evidence suggests chemical and biological weapons may also have been employed. The Kornak Armed Forces emerged as the victors of this conflict, though it had the effect of creating widespread illness and birth defects due to radiation and other types of poisionings. Much technology was also lost in the Cataclysm, including that for manned flight. (SCE eBook: Wounds, Book 2)
