The Catarr vessel was equipped with a weapons array capable of disabling a Federation starship of intermediate size, such as the USS Odyser.

- The Catarr ship in the comic had a different shape and form from the vessel shown attacking the Tubman on the cover art. This difference is most likely due to the different artists involved. A possible explanation for the change in appearance is that, however unlikely this might seem, that the vessel could change configuration somehow.
