An Alvanian cave sloth was a type of animal lifeform. (DS9 episodes: "Facets", "The Sword of Kahless")

History and specifics[]

The animals are usually two meters long, have six legs and feed on insects. They live in mountain regions. (Decipher RPG module: Creatures)

These probably have the same region of origin as Alvanian brandy.
