The Celtic was a private starship during the 24th century.
Service history and disposition[]
By the year 2380, the Celtic had become a privateer under the command of Captain Evan Walsh when its crew attempted to salvage the Borg-controlled USS Reston. As they were unable to restart the Reston's engines the Celtic locked on a tractor beam to tow the Starfleet vessel. This action activated the Reston's weapons systems and the Celtic was destroyed.
