Ch'lan was a male Klingon in the city of Krennla on Qo'noS in the mid 24th century. He was the father of a son, G'joth, and a daughter, Lakras.
Ch'lan worked for many years as a construction worker, until early 2376, when the company he worked for went out of business. Ch'lan maintained the pretense of going to a job daily for the sake of his children, but instead normally went to a local tavern, Kravokh's Beard. (KE novel: A Burning House)
