Chateau Picard DC Comics

James T. Kirk and Gillian Taylor enjoy a bottle of Château Picard in 2286.

For other uses, see Picard.

Château Picard was the name of the Picard family estate in La Barre, France on Earth and of the wine produced at the family vineyards. (TNG episode: "Family")

Château Picard dated back at least to the late 20th century and originated in Saint-Estèphe, France. (TNG novel: Collateral Damage)

It was the wine of choice of Professor Jeffrey Carlson in 1996. (TOS - The Eugenics Wars novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 2)

After World War III the vineyard was moved to La Barre in favor of a better climate. (TNG novel: Collateral Damage)

In 2245, Leonard McCoy and Emony Dax enjoyed a vintage 2228 bottle of Château Picard on their date during a gymnastics competition at Ole Miss. (DS9 - The Lives of Dax short story: "Old Souls")

Starfleet captain Philippa Georgiou kept a bottle (2249 vintage) in her Ready room aboard the USS Shenzhou in 2256. (DSC episode: "The Vulcan Hello")

In late 2265, Sal, the proprietor of Velluto's restaurant, sent over a free bottle of Château Picard to James T. Kirk and Leonard McCoy so that they could drink to Gary Mitchell's memory. (TOS - My Brother's Keeper novel: Enterprise)

James T. Kirk and Gillian Taylor enjoyed a bottle of Château Picard in 2286. (TOS comic: "Debt of Honor")

During the mid-24th century, Château Picard's winemaking business was run by Marie Picard, while her husband, Robert Picard, tended to the grapes. (TNG novel: Q & A)

Following a fatal fire in which Robert and his son René were killed , Marie also assumed the role of winemaker. (TNG movie: Star Trek: Generations)

Picard sampled a 2372 vintage -- the first batch produced by Marie following the death of Robert -- in 2380, and was disappointed by the result. (TNG novel: Q & A)

Quark stocked Château Picard in his bar. Julian Bashir apparently had a low regard for the Picard wines, requesting the "good stuff" instead when Quark had recommended it. Quark instead served Bashir a vintage Thunderbird. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky)

Jean-Luc Picard and Data enjoyed a bottle of Château Picard 2267 aboard the USS Enterprise-E in 2379, after the wedding of William T. Riker and Deanna Troi on Earth. After the death of Data, Picard and the other senior officers offered a toast to their deceased colleague using Château Picard. (TNG novelization: Nemesis)

After retiring from Starfleet, Picard moved back to his old home. Laris and Zhaban also lived there with him. (PIC episode: "Remembrance")
