Château Picard was the name of the Picard family estate in La Barre, France on Earth and of the wine produced at the family vineyards. (TNG episode: "Family")

Château Picard dated back at least to the late 20th century. It was the wine of choice of Professor Jeffrey Carlson in 1996. (TOS - The Eugenics Wars novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 2)

In 2245, Leonard McCoy and Emony Dax enjoyed a vintage 2228 bottle of Château Picard on their date during a gymnastics competition at Ole Miss. (DS9 - The Lives of Dax short story: "Old Souls")

Jean-Luc Picard and Data enjoyed a bottle of Château Picard 2267 aboard the USS Enterprise-E in 2379, after the wedding of William T. Riker and Deanna Troi on Earth.
