Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

The ChR Bloodied Talon was a Romulan starship, a Vas Hatham-class bird of prey in service during the mid-2260s decade. At the time it was one of the newest vessels in the Romulan Star Navy. (VAN novel: Summon the Thunder)

Service history[]

In the year 2265, the Bloodied Talon was deployed to investigate recent Federation, Klingon, and Tholian activity in the Taurus Reach. After following a Tholian starship while cloaked, the Talon decloaked and destroyed the Aen'q Tholis when it detected the Romulan ship.

A few weeks later while observing Klingon Defense Force ship movements around the Palgrenax system, the Talon's captain, Sarith, was forced to destroy the ship rather than risk detection after it was disabled by the energy surge from the Shedai's destruction of Palgrenax. (VAN novel: Summon the Thunder, ST novella: The First Peer)

Alternate timeline[]

In an alternate timeline where the ChR Gal Gath'thong destroyed the USS Enterprise, the Bloodied Talon was still in service in 2266. In that year, the Talon was accidentally transported into other alternate realities, including the primary universe, while investigating the dimension-hopping Ushalon planet. By cooperating with the crews of the USS Enterprise-D and USS Enterprise-E, the Bloodied Talon was returned to its native universe. (TNG novel: Headlong Flight)
