Chakuun fighters were a type of auxiliary fighter spacecraft used by the Chakuun, a subject race of the Tholian Assembly, used alongside 23rd century Chakuun ghostships in battle. It is implied by a Chakuun officer that the ships are of Tholian manufacture.
History and specifics[]
One design of this fighter was in use during the bombardment of Federation colony New Milan in the year 2239. In 2254, Gabrielle Carlotti's brothers played war with replicas of this fighter. (EV - The Fallen comic: "Part One")
Another fighter design was deployed during the Battle of Theta Kalyb in 2254. One fighter, containing a Chakuun cohort general, crashed near a Starfleet mercy camp by the Federation colony on Theta Kalyb. Carlotti entered the craft and spoke with its pilot. (EV - The Fallen comic: "Part Two")
