Doctor Chaotica was a fictional character from Earth literature, the evil nemesis of Captain Proton. He served as the primary villain of The Adventures of Captain Proton. (VOY episodes: "Night", "Bride of Chaotica!", "Shattered"; ST - Captain Proton: Defender of the Earth short story: "The Adventures of Captain Proton, Chapter Two: Death of the Patrol")
In the 1938 radio adaptation, he was played by Boris Karnov. (DS9 short story: "Captain Proton and the Orb of Bajor")
He styled himself as "ruler of the cosmos." (VOY episode: "Bride of Chaotica!")
