The Charak was a Cardassian cruiser in service in the 24th century. The Charak was commanded by Gul Gavron.
In 2371, the Charak was part of a fleet of one hundred and twenty Cardassian starships that attacked the two Hive starships. Gul Gavron later ordered the antimatter core to be released and for the Charak to ram one of the Hive ships, causing a matter-antimatter that destroyed the Charak and the Hive ship.
