Charles Milles Manson (12 November 1934-19 November 2017) was a Human man from the planet Earth, a criminal who led the "Manson family" in the 1960s decade.

Biography[]

In the year 1971, he was found guilty of conspiracy to commit a series of murders, which members of the group carried out at his instruction in August 1969. The crimes, committed on the North American continent's western coastal city of Los Angeles, were highly publicized.

While not directly referenced in his Star Trek mention, the deaths and subsequent prosecution of this case became a milestone in 20th century history, due to the celebrity of the victims and the extreme antisocial and drug-induced behavior of the group. Manson's conviction reflected a legal precedent as he was not present during the murders but had ordered them by proxy using indoctrination and coercion with threats and drugs. He was however reportedly present at the scene of the crime prior to some of the killings, and was confirmed to have provided his Buntline Special handgun to one of the killers at another murder scene.

In 1974, with the spectacle of the killings and trial undoubtedly fresh on her mind, Roberta Lincoln thought to herself that one of Redjac's personifications gave her the impression of resembling Charles Manson. (TOS - The Eugenics Wars novel: The Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh, Volume 1)
