Admiral Charlie Plaine was a human Starfleet flag officer who was the Commandant at Starfleet Academy until his retirement in 2278.
Biography[]
As the Narumiya Science Institute on Aldebaran III needed a new director, Plaine couldn't pass up the opportunity to run his alma mater. He was succeeded as the Commandant of Starfleet Academy by Rear Admiral James T. Kirk. (TOS novel: The Higher Frontier)
