The Charulhans are a species from the Charulh star system.

For seven generations as of the 23rd century, several Charulhan immigrants worked on Andor, usually as miners. During St. John Talbot's assignment there, he negotiated with several Charulhans who had taken several Andorians hostage, hoping to force the government to give them a voice in politics. Talbot sent a message to them, which proved to be a grave insult in the Charulhan culture. The hostages were executed, including the son of the capital city's governor. The Charulhans broke the boy's neck and displayed his body, leaving a note saying the boy had died easily. (TOS novelization: Star Trek V: The Final Frontier)
