Chel Boalg-class warships were a type of starship operated by the Breen Confederacy in the early 25th century. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)

The Chel Boalg-class were the products of improvements Breen engineers work at improving their starships in recent years. These warships were the newest class of vessels to appear within their fleets. Their design was built upon the success of the powerful Chel Grett class by updating its technology to modern standards thus creating a ship that was durable, powerful and versatile. They were equipped with energy dampening weapons that targeted power levels of targets rather than entirely disabling all their systems at once. These enhanced weapons fired a targetable energy dissipating shot that caused significant subsystem drain and had a chance to knock a single subsystem offline for a short duration.
