Cheryl Thomas was a 23rd century Human woman who served as a nurse aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise under the command of Captain James T. Kirk in the 2260s decade. (CCG set: Star Fleet Maneuvers, card: "Cheryl Thomas")

Biography[]

In the year 2267, Cheryl Thomas assisted Doctor Leonard McCoy when he was working to revive Khan Noonien Singh from suspended animation. Nurse Thomas handed McCoy medical instruments from a tray at Khan's bedside. (TOS episode: "Space Seed")

Later that year, she helped McCoy to administer sedatives to the crew when the ship was invaded by Redjac. Nurse Thomas brought a hypospray to the bridge, and Captain Kirk instructed her to sedate the entire bridge crew, and then herself. (TOS episode: "Wolf in the Fold")

Background[]

SpaceSeednurse

Joan WebsterMA as Cheryl Thomas in TOS episode: "Space Seed".

Cheryl Thomas 2

Judi ShervenMA as Cheryl Thomas in TOS episode: "Wolf in the Fold".

The nurse played by Judi ShervenMA was named Cheryl Thomas in Star Trek: The Card Game, but the TOS novel: A Choice of Catastrophes credits Joan WebsterMA's character as Cheryl Thomas. In the absence of contradictory information, they are assumed to be the same person for the purposes of this wiki. There is a slim outside possibility, as in the case of Theresa Ross and Teresa Ross, that they are actually two separate people.

It can be determined that Cheryl Thomas was likely an officer, since she had apparently completed a nursing degree of higher education. As she was only seen wearing the sickbay work uniform, which bore no rank insignia, her exact rank grade is not known, and is likely to have been ensign, lieutenant JG or lieutenant.
