Chi Rho III was a planet, the third planet in the Chi Rho star system which was the site of a Federation Archaeology Council excavation sometime prior to 2293, headed by Doctor Tully. Tully's logs from this archaeology project were required reading at Starfleet Academy in the 2290s. (TOS - Strange New Worlds II short story: "The First Law of Metaphysics")
