During the Dominion War, Chin'toka IX was invaded by the Klingons, with Yovak's troops being overrun when the Dominion attacked several months later. (KE novel: Honor Bound)
In 2376, Quark and Deru acquired land on Chin'toka IX from a retired Gul, paying for it in kanar and taspar eggs. Deru later tried to sell it to the Kobheerian entrepreneur Riilampe. (DS9 - Gateways novel: Demons of Air and Darkness)
