In 2269, Christensen was the security detail that beamed over to the highjacked USS Masada with James T. Kirk, Spock, and Leonard McCoy after using that ship's prefix code to lower its deflector shields. Christensen assessed that transporting directly to the bridge would surprise Elasi pirates that had taken control of the ship. But he mentioned an alternate plan of deactivating a forcefield around the bridge door rigged by the ship's crew, then beaming a phaser bomb onto the bridge, so that the pirates would flee into the corridor where they could be captured with less risk. But McCoy feared for the safety of the hostages, and Spock warned that bridge controls could be damaged. (TOS video game: 25th Anniversary mission: "Hijacked")
- Christensen may have a Second History alternate reality counterpart: Lieutenant Dane Christensen. The video game character was probably named after Greg Christensen, programmer for the CD-ROM version of the game.
