Christopher Danton was a male Human scientist in the 20th century. He was born on November 8, 1929, and served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II, where he was twice wounded and received citations for his bravery. Following the war, he attended Yale University, and after graduating in 1948, attended Harvard University. There he earned doctorates in particle physics and applied thermonuclear energy. Sometime after 1961, he joined Project Hercules, an effort to develop enhanced fusion technology.

As of 1968, Danton was married with two daughters. He voted for the Republican Party candidates in the presidential elections of 1956, 1960, and 1964. (TOS - Star Trek: Assignment: Earth comic: "Brighter Than a Thousand Suns")

Danton's birthdate would make him only twelve years old when the United States entered World War II, and fifteen when the war ended. Beta Five's brief biographical synopsis also gives his graduation date from Harvard as 1942, which would seemingly conflict with his age and wartime service.
