Chronovore is a classification in biology (and to some degree, physics), describing a lifeform which feeds on time and temporal energy, such as chroniton particles.

Captain Benjamin Sisko of the Federation starship USS Robinson used this term to refer to a spaceborne Naga lifeform that was feeding on the temporal energy of a Cardassian Nor class space station in the year 2387. (ST - Coda novel: The Ashes of Tomorrow)
