For other uses, see Circe.

The Circe system was a star system located within Federation space in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[]

The Circe system's orbit was the location of at least six planets, including second planet Circe II and fifth planet Circe V.

In the 23rd century, the second planet supported a Federation colony. (TOS comic: "Terminally Yours")

In the year 2269, when the Starfleet starship USS Enterprise visited the system, most of the crew temporarily abandoned ship on the fifth planet. (TOS - Year Five comics: "Issue 11", "Issue 12")

In 2279, the Enterprise revisited the system in response to a medical distress call. Captain Spock piloted a two-man shuttlecraft from Circe to Vulcan and back within a few days. (TOS comic: "Terminally Yours")
