The clado is an amphibian animal native to Ferenginar. It was the size of a Ferengi toe.
The clado enjoy the rain on Ferenginar and "sing" with a sound the Ferengi describe as "fripping". On the rare occasion of a day without rain, the clado stops singing, which unnerves Ferengi and can lead to financial disaster.
