A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! As always, the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Strange New Worlds and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG and Star Trek Online, as well as other eventful releases such as Section 31, the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). Class T nebula

A class T nebula in the Delta Quadrant in 2376.

In Federation Starfleet's alphabetic nebula classification[1], a class T nebula was a type of gas cloud in interstellar space. (VOY episode: "Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy")

History and specifics[]

Lokirrim space 2377

The Hierarchy's class T nebula in 2377.

A class-T nebula was missed by the wayward Federation Intrepid-class starship USS Voyager in the year 2376 on the ship's return trip to the Alpha Quadrant. The Hierarchy hid an Assault-class ship inside the nebula. A warning by an Overlooker to Voyager's Doctor allowed the Starfleet ship to avoid the trap. (VOY episode: "Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy")

In the 2370s, the Dinaali maintained a mining colony on a planetoid inside the class-T nebula located just three lightyears from Dinaal. (VOY episode: "Critical Care")

Class T nebula 2379

Stellar neighborhood of a class T nebula in 2379.

When Starfleet returned to the Delta Quadrant in 2379, the class T nebula in Hierarchy space and the one close to the Dinaali were two of the areas of interest. (Star Trek Adventures module: Delta Quadrant Sourcebook)
