Class VII starship

Class VII is a starship classification term used to describe a type of starship in relation to other starship types in similar fleets.

In the 24th century, the M'Benga-class starship was considered to be a class VII rescue/hospital ship by the Federation Starfleet. (FASA RPG module: Star Trek: The Next Generation Officer's Manual)

In the 2360s, the Starfleet categorized the Atlec and Straleb security vessels both as Class 7 vessels. (TNG episode: "The Outrageous Okona")
