Cochrane Research Facility

The Cochrane Research Facility was a location on Sirius IV in the early 22nd century. As a cadet, Malcolm Reed toured the facility when the reactor exploded, and he watched the twenty people who were trapped in the core (including John Mayhill) die of radiation poisoning. Even years afterwards, Reed would occasionally have nightmares about that day. (ENT novel: What Price Honor?)
