An untitled Collision insurance commercial was released by Esurance and shown in theaters along with Star Trek Into Darkness. The commercial features a brief in-universe story.
The captain of a Federation starship complains that the Enterprise gets all the good missions. Just then, their starship is collided into by another ship, which hails and apologizes, saying he has insurance. The unnamed captain then proceeds to unwittingly insult the pilot of the second ship.
