Commander general is a rank, a general officer rank used by the Romulan Star Empire, approximately equivalent to a commodore of Starfleet. This rank is subordinate to a full general and superior to a commander. The Romulans call this grade "khre'riov" in the Rihannsu language. (TOS novels: My Enemy, My Ally, The Romulan Way)
