Construction support station 173 was a Federation space station, a construction support station in Starfleet service in the 24th and 25th centuries.
Service history[]
In the year 2383, the station was assembled in the Bajor system by the Starfleet Corps of Engineers from modular components within a drydock frame by tractor beams, workbees and Sphinx workpods. It served as a staging platform for the SCE's construction of the new Frontier-class Deep Space 9 (II). (ST - Typhon Pact novel: Raise the Dawn)
By 2410, construction support station 173 had been relocated to Earth's orbit, and formed the central station of the San Francisco Fleet Yards. (STO - Season 13.5 mission: "Welcome to Earth Spacedock")
