Cornish hen

A Cornish hen is a food made from a small chicken of Earth.

Although preparations of chicken notably are from the Human civilization of the planet Earth, where chickens originate, the spread of Human culture (and chickens) throughout the galaxy has probably made this available many other places. This is presumably also a preparation originated on planets with parallel development to Earth and parallel universes as well.

Leonard McCoy attempted to convince James T. Kirk to join him for a Cornish hen dinner while Kirk was on leave in the year 2267, but Kirk was more interested in being alone at the Kirk family residence in Riverside, Iowa. (TOS novel: Final Frontier)
